Moonshake Studio

Moonshake Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio founded by artist and designer Marika

Kandelaki. We specialize in forward and innovative surface design, high end customized

artwork, print design, branding and sustainable production consulting for the apparel industry.

Our print collection consists of thoughtfully curated artworks, composed of designs created with

various experimental mediums and techniques. In addition to designs we offer full package

consulting and digital printing services.

Passion

Moonshake Studio is driven by a passion for the arts, textile design and innovations in

sustainability. Bridging the gap between art and production allows us to effectively create and

manufacture unique artworks that embrace the spirit and vision of each company, always

pushing limits and exploring new technologies.

Process

We take great care to create productive working relationships through strong collaboration. We

believe it is crucial to combine strategy with open mindedness and experimentation. We are

always on the lookout for new ways of doing things!

Sustainability

We work closely with designers and manufacturers, bridging the gap between the two. This

ensures that each print design is mindful of the capabilities and challenges of the given

production technique, and is in tune with ethical manufacturing standards.

In an effort to improve these systems, we source a wide array of sustainable textiles and

printers from around the world. We test each selected quality for its color saturation, ink depth

limitations and color retention. Our versatile catalog of tested organic, sustainable and ethically

produced fabrics allows our clients to make the confident shift towards sustainability.

Studio

We are a Brooklyn based studio with a satellite creative retreat on the island of Losinj in Croatia.

Our contrasting studio locations allows us to draw the best from the two worlds: the endless

diversity and cultural heterogeneity that is natural to New York, with the bohemian lifestyle and

natural beauty of the island of Losinj.
